Appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, John Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen reveals which The Voice season 21 coach she’s rooted for.

Chrissy Teigen, The voice coach John Legend’s wife, has revealed which coach she’s rooting for this season. John was the winning coach of Season 16, his first season, with folk artist Maleyn Jarmon. Now in his sixth season as a coach, John is joined by Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and new coach Ariana Grande for Season 21. Currently in the Knockouts, all of the artists this season choose their own songs, with coaching. individual. from their coaches and mega mentor Ed Sheeran. Previously, in battles, Team Legend was assisted by advisor Camila Cabello. In the Battles, John picked Samuel Harness, Brittany Bree, Joshua Vacanti, Sabrina Dias, Shadale and Paris Winningham to advance to the next round. He saved losing artist Samara Brown and stole Jershika Maple from Team Kelly.

Earlier this season, Chrissy told her fans via Instagram that working with new trainer Ariana would be “embarrassing“for John. Chrissy explained that her family is obsessed with Ariana’s music.”Today is a bit funny day because it’s the premiere of The Voice, and John absolutely knows that this house only listens to Ariana Grande.“Chrissy said at the time, laughing.”Imagine how embarrassing it is for John to live in this Ariana Grande house… and to have to be him. “ Ariana got involved in the joke, posting a screenshot on her Instagram page of a text Chrissy sent her, which read: Do you have any assets that I can post to be part of the Ari team. “

Chrissy recently appeared on Kelly Clarkson’s Show, and Kelly reminded Chrissy of where her loyalty lay. “I used to rub it on John’s face because you were on Team Kelly for a minute. And then Ariana comes in. Here is the trick. I can’t blame you because my daughter is in love with her.Chrissy said that other than Dua Lipa, her daughter, Luna, only listened to Ariana in the car. Kelly jokingly started a rant about Ariana, saying: “Why are you trying to help Ariana Grande? Think we don’t need help? She’s got, like, a billion followers. [John] is a hell of a EGOT winner and she scares Ariana Grande. Help me!

Chrissy said she could support Kelly’s rooting and went on to admit that she felt obligated to support her husband John as he is “so clearly gonna lose. ”At the end of their conversation, Kelly joked that Chrissy could help any coach other than Blake. Blake aside, Chrissy enjoys spending time with John and everyone else. Voice coaches, and said she hopes the current coaching lineup will stick with the show forever. Chrissy enjoys attending their dinners the most.

As great as it is to see the Voice Coaches getting along well, Chrissy’s involvement in the show is further proof that the show may not be enough for the competing artists. She has yet to highlight any of the Voice artists or coaches or use its platform to provide them with more support. Kelly didn’t mention any of her artists in her interview with Chrissy. The fact that the coaches themselves are declared the winners takes away the hard work and talent of their team members. It looks like the current group of coaches care about their performers, but they could do more to talk about them outside of the show. Competitive jokes can get old pretty quickly, and the stakes are relatively low for these world-famous superstars. It would be nice to see Chrissy, Kelly and all the coaches at least shout their performers out The voice, who struggled to reach the level of fame and fortune of their coaches.

The voice Airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
