The Baltimore Ravens have been eagerly awaiting any update on Lamar Jackson’s status ahead of the Ravens’ game against the Cleveland Browns. Jackson didn’t adjust for the Ravens’ Week 11 game against the Chicago Bears, in which the Ravens were 7-3 to the win, 16-13. Jackson was sidelined due to illness. As ESPN’s Jamison Hensley reports:
“Sidelined for just the third game of his four-year career, Jackson started to feel sick last Tuesday. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before returning for a full practice on Friday. But the symptoms returned on Saturday.
Jackson has never missed back-to-back games.
The good news for Ravens fans is that head coach John Harbaugh has shed some light on Jackson’s situation, in which Harbaugh said Jackson “is feeling good.” However, Harbaugh went on to say that he was not fully aware of how well Jackson was feeling, and that the two have yet to have a chance to meet since Jackson fell ill.
Harbaugh later said he hoped Jackson would be able to participate in Tuesday’s walkthrough leading up to Week 12, and the head coach made it clear he didn’t want to put the plow ahead of them. oxen when it came to Jackson’s situation. Harbaugh made it clear that he didn’t want to take Jackson’s participation in the walkthrough as an expectation because no one really knows how well Lamar Jackson is until he comes back and is assessed.
