Need a drink? Here are some of the most festive bars in the Valley

With the holidays in full swing, we wanted to find the most party bars in the whole Valley where you can rock your ugly sweater and dive in.

PHOENIX – While on vacation, 12 News searched for the best decorated homes that sparkle with holiday cheer, but some of the valley’s liveliest bars are also getting into seasonal swag and decorating!

With the holidays in full swing, we wanted to find the most party bars in the whole Valley where you can rock your ugly sweater and dive in.

From winter wonders to how long it takes to string all those strands together, our journey begins at Swizzle Inn in central Phoenix.

“Hours takes hours, many people hours. A lot of our customers are helping out, and it’s so much fun. It’s a whole different place on vacation,” said owner Beth Johnson.

As their 25th anniversary approaches, they hope to raise $ 25,000 for a local charity, Human Services Campus, by auctioning two bicycles. And while they can’t convince longtime bartender Bob to wear a Santa hat, he makes a nasty “naughty martini.”

Then, hop on your Harley and head to Arcadia and into the brightly lit Chopper Johns biker bar which is home to the “Spiced Rum Gingerbread Frosty”.

We said goodbye to each other and ended up at The Little Woody where you wouldn’t know from the outside that the inside is a vacation haven. Several hours of setup, a larger-than-life Santa Claus, and that cabin feel you can’t get to often in town make this an awesome trifecta.

No vacation bar list is complete without Coach House. It is one of the oldest bars in the old town and has fascinated many tourists since 1959.

“We were turning around the corner, and we’re like it’s a bar? Looks like Christmas,” said one customer.
