Rival gangs post grim graffiti making ‘Mr Flashy’ a ‘rat’ as Finglas drug feud looks set to explode

The enemies of drug dealer “Mr Flashy” have joined forces and are now trying to drive his associates out of the northern suburb of Finglas.

Our exclusive image shows the sinister ‘Mr Flashy’ ‘a rat’ graffiti that was displayed in the Berryfield area of Finglas this week following the murder and lavish £30,000 funeral of rival James ‘Whela’ Whelan (29 years).

The development comes as it can be revealed that an impromptu crime summit took place in the garden of a property in the Kippure area of Finglas in recent days.

Sources say ‘what is very concerning’ about the reunion is that senior players, now in their 40s and 50s who have been embroiled in long-term feuds at Finglas for decades, were present.

“The meeting in the garden shows who is aligned with whom and it’s bad news for any chance of peace in this neighborhood,” a source said.

“You guys in the media called the Whelan mob the ‘scooter crew’ and yeah they’re a bunch of young guys riding around on electric scooters selling drugs but now they got the backing of guys who allegedly even hung out with ‘Marlo’ Hyland and that’s significant,” the source added.

Martin ‘Marlo’ Hyland was shot in December 2006, a vicious murder that led to a huge feud that resulted in up to 15 other murders during the bloody reign of slain gang leader Eamon ‘The Don’ Dunne who was himself- even shot down in 2010.

“So what you get by aligning yourself with Whela associates are guys who survived all this mess, all this murder.

“These are seasoned guys and you won’t find them embroiled in the social media war like the younger generation,” the source pointed out.

“But clearly they’re against what the media call ‘Mr Flashy’,” the source added.

It can further be revealed that associates of Whelan were spotted ‘patrolling’ housing estates near where ‘Mr Flashy’ lives in an attempt to intimidate the gang responsible for the trafficker’s gun murder. drug.

“Yes, five members of Whelan’s crew were spotted in a car this week driving near Mr. Flashy’s house – near where Whelan was shot by them,” a source said.

“It seems like they are sending a message by driving like this and if they have the support of older criminals then why not?”

There has been no sighting of “Mr Flashy” and his close junior associate who is suspected in Whelan’s murder since the savage gunshot wound.

Some sources believe they may have fled the country, but this has not been confirmed.

Last weekend it emerged that the gardaí were watching for grim threats to the grave of Finglas criminal James Whelan, just days after his lavish €30,000 funeral.

Sources said officers were monitoring threats, including death threats against Whelan’s associates and others to desecrate his grave, posted on social media sites TikTok and Telegram by associates of the known drug trafficker. Mr. Flashy’s name.

Whelan was buried in a ‘spectacular’ funeral last week – which saw motorbikes and a Lamborghini do stunts outside his home as his golden coffin was transported by horse-drawn carriage from his home in Finglas.

Speaking at his funeral at St Oliver Plunkett’s Church in Finglas, Father Séamus Ahern said he wished the sanctions imposed on the Kinahan cartel could extend to “the whole plethora of drug dealers everywhere “.

“It doesn’t matter what clan they belong to or who they are. They are a vicious and deadly virus to our young people,” Fr Ahern said.

“Their money is sick and poisoned. They are grotesque and they poison our beautiful world and our wonderful people.” The bullies behind this savagery towards James are sick, sad and stupid. They are imperfect human beings. They devalue humanity. There is no justification. Gunslingers are cowards.

“There can be no tolerance for such corruption and wickedness.”
