Take a look inside this storybook, a French-inspired home on Beverly Drive in Highland Park

Here’s a story as old as time: There’s a pretty house on Beverly Drive, and you have to see it.

Known for its glamor and horse-drawn carriage tours along the street at Christmas, Highland Park’s remarkable street is home to some of Dallas’ most luxurious homes. This 2006 construction at 4417 Beverly Drive is no exception.

Co-listing agent Elly Sachs Holder said the work of builder Tatum Brown sets this home apart from others in the market.

“It’s quality throughout,” Holder said.

The home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and three half baths in its 7,342 square feet. Holder said the layout is unique. There is a spiral staircase next to the front door and the hall leads directly to the formal living room, where you will find a bar and wine cellar. Symmetry is a theme throughout the home, with arches, windows, and doors all configured to provide a clean look. The home’s kitchen and family room have an open concept, with French doors along one side of the space giving access to the back patio.

The house spans 0.22 acres and most of the outdoor space is used by the patio. Holder said this shouldn’t be a problem for future homeowners who enjoy spending time outdoors because the house is so close to Flippen Park and Fairfax Park.

The master suite is on the second floor of the house. The bedroom has built-in shelving and detailed crown moldings. There is also a living room or office next to the master bedroom, as well as a bathroom designed for two people with two sinks, two toilets, a separate bath and shower, a coffee bar and two walk-in closets.

Three more bedrooms are on the second level, each with an en-suite bathroom, and the fifth and final bedroom is on the third level of the house. You will also find a games room with a half bathroom on the third level.

Compass’s Elly Sachs Holder and Gretchen Brasch listed the house at $ 3,795,000.
